Fried oysters are delicious~

Every so often I get the urge to eat this very Taiwanese dish (as far as I know it's only available in Taichung) served here called Da Mian Gen (Big Sticky Noodles). It’s a cornstarch-enriched broth with unusual noodles and a sweet, pleasant flavor. It’s best to add a healthy helping of the spicy sauce on your table, for balance and kick, and order a side of fried pork belly and a side of soybean cakes. It’s satisfyingly delicious and filling, and makes for a perfect lunch or afternoon snack.
