Wulai District, New Taipei City｜山之川溫泉餐坊

A bit away from Wulai old street but we enjoyed the quiet serenity this place has to offer. The private bathroom for 2 was spacious and clean, and we had a window overlooking the stream below. There was also a restaurant with an outdoor balcony area. It was one of our best experiences in Taiwan, sitting there, admiring the beautiful scenery and eating hotpot. It’s recommended to purchase the ticket online through Klook as it is MUCH CHEAPER compared to ticket on site. Our combo included a hot drink and cake. We didnt plan to have lunch but eventually got hot pot due to the rain. Surprisingly delicious and affordable. The auntie serving us was very nice and accommodating despite the language barrier. All in all, we had a comforting time and I would rate it 10/10 if I could.

A comfortable Hot Spring Spa centre situated in Wulai, Taiwan. The scenery is beautiful and there's Steam Bath, Sauna Room, Lounge with simple exercising equipments and complimentary tea provided. Food & desserts was tasty. Reasonably Affordable price too! I would definitely like to visit again whenever going to Taipei.

Hotpot is $330NT per person and you can select the soup base, one type of meat, rice or different kinds of noodles. Then for dessert you can choose a drink like pineapple/apple juice, tea, milk tea, or coffee and then grass jelly or soy milk. Pretty good deal and they are open late! Very respectful staff that regularly checked if we needed to replenish our hotpot or other needs. They could tell we were foreign and were helpful in making recommendations.
