If you’re not sure, get 1 to try first, likely you’ll go back for the 2nd serving 🤪 You can let the staff know if you don’t want coriander inside yours. There are a lot of similar stores selling peanut ice cream, pick the one with the staff wearing red. The store is closer to the station, there is a staff that is multilingual, and there are benches in the store for you to sit and enjoy the ice cream (and take a short break). The store also sells steamed xiaolongbao and beer.

I went to Shifen alone today and it was the most delicious thing! I recommend everyone to try it. Thank you for your enthusiasm! Arrived at Shi Fen Old Street today and this is the best snack (Ice cream wrapped with peanut and a bit of Coriander) around the area. The staff was very fluent in Mandarin and Korean, he sounds passionate and even suggested places to go in Taipei . Will definitely patronize again. Please give this a try!
