Authentic Taiwanese noodles and side dishes. We ordered some traditional braised mince pork noodles and meatballs soup which were scrumptious. The decor was great and it’s a shop that has a touching story behind.

The movie Wansheng Going Home was filmed here. The old Japanese-style houses nearby have not been fully preserved, but this place has the most Japanese flavor of the past. There is a small courtyard. It is not easy to find in the alleys, but thanks to the Internet, there are many diners visiting from all over the world. The environment is traditional and the old time atmosphere is complete. The boss is friendly, the clerk is good, the action is fast, and the food is served quickly. The signature is braised pork rice (rice with minced meat) served with a half-boiled poached egg. The marinade is on the sweet side, but the soft-boiled egg yolk is very delicious. There is gelatin in the entrance. Those who love to eat can solve a large bowl at once with a few bites. Side dishes are also good. Lo-mei such as bean buns and dried tofu are recommended. Dry even considered refreshing. I didn't eat noodles, but many local customers order noodles, which seems to be a delicacy. If you pass by here, you might as well come and have a taste.

The most representative of the old-fashioned Taiwanese-style Lu Roufan, the lard has a strong flavor of green onions, and a half-boiled fried egg is added to the rice with egg yolk juice, which is very ecstasy! The simple tribute ball soup is also full of rich taste of happiness. It is not an exaggeration to be the only one in Hualien!
