This place is worth the 1 hour trip from Taipei. We took an Uner from our Yaipei c8ty hotel about $60AUD for about an hour and them the free shuttle bus and train back to Taipei. We prebooked a spa and lunch package. We had our own private onsen followed by a six course lunch. The food is amazing. Fantastic chef.

If I could give them six stars I would. We were blown away by the location, the service, the ambience and just how amazing the hot spring was. We took the shuttle bus up (NT $50/person) and back, so it’s relatively easy even for tourists to get there. The private room with the mountain view was so worth it. We’ve had such an amazing and relaxing time that it is one of our best memories of Taiwan.
