Beautiful place with a history. We came in a rainy weekday on the way to the national park. Definitely worth dropping by and grab a coffee.

It used to be the residence of Chiang Kai-shek and Song Meiling. The scenery is beautiful and you can see Taipei City and the Tamsui River far away. The towering maple trees are full of greenery. Classical and stylish architecture! Meiling Afternoon Tea has Mrs. Jiang's favorite pastries... It seems to be in that great era. It is leisurely, comfortable and elegant. The time goes back to the past.
