This store is one of my childhood memories. Every time I go south to Kaohsiung to play or visit the Shelter Palace, I always communicate through Xinying. My dad always says that it’s better to have a pig’s head rice for lunch. So, I will choose this restaurant for dinner. Every time I come here, I always feel that it is greasy and dirty, giving people a very uncomfortable feeling, but the signature pig head rice, fried sausage, bitter gourd soup, shredded bamboo shoot soup, and all kinds of side dishes are all delicious. It is unchanged from childhood to adulthood. When I visited again recently, I found that it gave me an amazing feeling. The whole store has been refurbished, giving people a sense of comfort and brightness with clean windows, and the feeling of eating is much easier. But what remains the same is the delicious pork head rice and the affordable price, which makes people want to keep coming back!
