Da’an District, Taipei City｜The Master Spicy Noodle

If you understand Chinese, this ramen shop will live up to its name. That's what I felt when I dined there. Be prepared to wait in line as it's not a big place and it's very popular among the young locals. There aren't many tourists here yet so if you can, try this place before it becomes even more famous. The style of this place is to do fewer items but do them well. There's no choice of how the ramen is served and there's only two soup bases and one type of meat (beef). There's also a recommended way of enjoying the food. It all works incredibly well, everything was absolutely delicious. I will definitely return the next time I'm in Taipei!

Beef noodles soup and side dish were pretty tasty! Must to order 油條, it was amazing to dip into the soup. Duck blood and tofu were nice, too. Large portions and reasonable price, highly recommended!

The beef noodles here are served with noodle and soup separate which is interesting. There is always a long queue, so I recommend going early before (5:30 pm) to get a number. They will tell you approximate wait time and you can go walk around the area and call from time to time to follow queue progress.
