Da’an District, Taipei City｜小林麵食館

Having just arrived from the United States & wanting to try some local cuisine; my Beautiful wife and I decided to try there beef soup with noodles as well as there dumplings....OMG; The soup was delicious. It was authentic, the noodles were nice and chewy but most importantly was the fact that the soup had a very nice, clean taste as the broth was not overdone with salt & spices. It was simply elegant. As for the dumplings....an authentic taste of heaven as they were also chewy & very filling. We also had boiled vegetables with hot chili sauce (something I added) which kicked the taste up a notch and cleared my sinuses at the same time🤗🤣🌶🤗. In conclusion; it was a great first meal here in Taiwan & one we will go back to before heading back to Washington D.C. before we leave.

One of the BEST places to get boiled dumplings! Absolutely amazing. In addition with getting a side dish of rice, it’s great. I also really like the layout of this particular restaurant. It has such an open space, and you can see the staff cook each meal. The menu is in Chinese, but they have a lot of pictures alongside it, which makes it easier to see what they have to offer. Great place, and opened 24 hours.

Very nice staff. Menu only in Chinese. You sit down first and mark what you would like to have then pay at the till. Food comes fast and tastes pretty good. Place is not very big so it can get busy during lunch time. Classic specialize in Taiwanese dishes.
