While they have been grape farmers for more than 40 years, the owner, in his 50s, is the 1st generation in making wine. They specialised in dry wines and red, with a variety of single grape and blends. This is the best dry red and wine I have tasted in this wine tasting trip to Taichung area. Relying only on wine making technology taught by various Taiwanese universities as well as their own experiments and experience in managing grape cultivation, they have managed to make extremely good wine, capitalising on the unique Taiwanese grape varieties, soil and weather. The owner has also made brandy, which is extremely good as well!
