There’s a group of super friendly women that are more than happy to offer you the best local food. They have traditional Hakka cuisine that you could tell them to modify the salt and oil level to your liking. Their specialty is the longan sticky rice cake and brown sugar steam cake. The longan sticky rice cake has locally dried longan. They also use a special type of koji so that e cake has a red colour and special fermentative taste. The most popular item is brown sugar steam cake! It’s often sold out if you you’re unlucky, but they usually make more cakes in the weekends.

The honeycomb cake is delicious!
