More Comments at Google MapWe stopped by this place on our way to Nantou's Sun Moon Lake. It is right off of the freeway and has lots of free parking spots. The main building is a fairytale-like castle and there are endless photo opportunities all around. Inside the castle there are many Taiwanese snacks like Nougat and Pineapple Cake. There is also a fresh bakery section that sells egg tarts and cream puff, the smell was amazing as we entered. We enjoyed our visit very much and will be sure to come back again.
There are many large and small black pine souvenirs available for purchase at the Heads of State Pavilion. The mango nougat is delicious! It’s not too sweet and has the aroma of mango. You can also try the freshly baked pesto bread 🍞! Personally, I think the items sold there basically have a pretty good CP value, and the waiters on the day were pretty nice and chatty. I think it’s a good place to go for a walk once in a while. Further up there is the Yuelao Church ⛪ where you can ask Qian Mu for marriage! There are also simple cafes that provide meals. And there are little surprise decorations everywhere, which are great for taking pictures! It is very considerate that there is a simple tripod on site for tourists to put their mobile phones to take pictures! Taking selfies is much easier this way! Funny tourists who love taking photos can spend half a day taking photos to forget themselves... (like me) 🤣 <The photos provided are only a small part😝>
It’s a great spot for the young couple to take photos. Parking is convenient and free at the Heads of State Pavilion. The 50 yuan admission fee for Yuelao Church and Love Story Pavilion can be offset. It’s a good value for money.
