Beinan Township, Taitung County｜原始部落山地美食

Without a doubt, the best meal of our trip. No idea how they cooked that chicken where even the white meat tastes like dark. You would think the chicken is their specialty and everything goes downhill from there but heck no. The sliced pork…heavenly. And the soup?!?!? When I saw the bill at the end…man, I shouldn’t say this but I would’ve paid more for the feast we had. I haven’t even begun to talk about the show we watched or the view of the town below. This place just checks all the boxes for a trip to Taitung. Oh, remember to make rsvp ahead and time and reserve that chicken!

The food is is so authentic and delicious! We ordered half a roast chicken, fish, pork belly, sausage, and seasonal veggies. They were all extremely delicious. It was so good we came back one more time during our trip in Taitung! On our second night (Sunday) they had a local abort dance performance which was a nice touch to the whole experience. Highly recommend!

Food is definitely more than OK. Today is a rainy evening but this restaurant is fully packed. You need make a reservation in advanced to book either 5:00 - 6:30 - 8:00 slot. Roasted Chicken and salt fish are two major attraction but the pig skin is also a good choice. Strongly recommended!
