A short drive from Hsinchu in the hills of xinpu, is this awesome Hakka restaurant. Super friendly staff and delicious food. After your meal, the grounds are nice for a walk around. And if you're looking for a sweet treat afterwards, there's an ice cream Cafe (with a woodfire pizza oven) on the same property. This place is a great place for an afternoon drive out of the city.
