宏昌客家菜館 has the best food in town! Any visitor to Guanshan 關山 MUST come to this restaurant. The food was stunning and simple. Eight dishes that will make your tastebuds go crazy and will make you completely full. Friendly to foreigners and visitors. Awesome for families, friend groups, couples, and singles. Great for a NT$400 budget per person. Use their Line to reserve a spot beforehand! Place does not take walk-ins. I will definitely come back!

With a group of local friends, we went to this great restaurant. Food was diverse and excellent. We ordered chicken, eggplants, tofu - each of which was tasty and refined. Ambiance wise: the chef came after to hang out and explain how she made the different dishes, and brought ingredients from the kitchen to show us some local specialties. Highly recommend.
