Chishang Township, Taitung County｜如初丼

Friendly reminder, be sure to call to reserve a table first, otherwise you will be hungry. The Chishang rice used in the store and the excellent local ingredients are a must-visit place when visiting Taitung.

Calm and easeful atmosphere. The owner is friendly and polite. The dishes are savory, plus they have a special seasoning called "garlic oil", 1 teaspoon of it will enrich the taste alot. Definitely recommended. (The meal in the photo is called 蔥鹽豬, which means pork with salt and green onion)

Four items on the menu, but is superb. People complained that the owner is brusque, but we found it to be very endearing in actuality. He and his wife take their jobs seriously - and that is to be lauded. Particularly recommend the garlic oil. Superb.
