Vegetables, soup, and even rice can be refilled (!) and the kind grandma will chat with you enthusiastically (and ask us to come again in English). An old storefront with a strong human touch is rare.

Considering the very low cost (TWD 80 per box), you get lots! The food is tasty, with a wide variety of bento dishes. I especially liked the roasted meat and pickled vegetables. When eating there, you also get free flow of soup with ingredients inside!

For 80NTD, you get a tasty traditional bento set with free flow soup, vegetables, sour plums and fruits. If you would like to have more rice, you can ask the friendly staff at the counter and they will gladly top up your bento box for free. This town is famous for its rice, so you are in for a treat.
