Xiulin Township, Hualien County｜野之味

Great farm to table type restaurant located in a village on the outskirts of Hualien. There is no menu, all dishes are made using seasonally available local ingredients - many of which are unique to the indigenous group in the area and not found elsewhere. Our server introduced each dish and was keen to answer our questions. Some creative dishes showing international influence and overall quite tasty. Active and attentive service for a restaurant in Taiwan. We really enjoyed the experience! Highly recommended. Reservations required, call ahead!
