Very good food and very nice chef. We went there twice because it's a really nice meal after a hike in the national park. The menu with the mushroom dumpling (not really like a traditional dumpling, more like a filed rice ball) and meat&sausage (NT$190) was very interesting and a good way to try different specialties. I'm not a big fan of the tea egg but that's just my taste. The second time we had the burger (NT$120) and compared to many other Taiwanese meals we had it felt like a refreshing light meal. Both came with a coffee or a tea. In many other places you pay more for the coffee than for a whole meal here.

This is an exceptional place with great scenery of the famous Taroko Gorge river. The owner is very kind and welcoming. There is a good mixture of authentic Taiwanese cuisine and Western fusion food. I highly recommend coming here! Bring your friends after a long hike at Taroko Gorge and you won’t regret it!

Must try the value combo set which comprises sausage, grilled pork, herbal egg, meatball and corn soup, dessert and tea. Can taste the special, authentic spices and flavours in the dishes but for those coriander-hater, please be careful and remind the owner to exclude it. Both boss and lady boss are very kind and friendly. Great experience that I would certainly recommend in overall.
