Manzhou Township, Pingtung County｜Under Star Lab 草地餐桌實驗室

The area charges an entrance fee - it's not ideal, but if you order a full meal, it all evens out. The meal itself was super delicious, but it's a very popular restaurant, so make a reservation. The area was okay to wait in - nice shaded spots to wait and plenty of little photo ops. Be warned - people are VERY into their pictures and some people come here JUST for the pictures. Soft Shell Crab Burger: GOOD and the fries were super good too. The burger had an ENTIRE CRAB fried in it, in place of the meat. It was really good Smoked Salmon Pasta: Good, mushrooms were nicely chopped and the salmon had good flavor. The vegetables in it were super good too Tacos: SUPER good, the tortillas were basic store-bought american ones, but the toppings and pork belly were really nice. Not what I'd call a traditional Mexican Taco, but still really good

Truffle pasta and deep-fried seafood platter are pretty good! It's also a nice place for pictures. The ice cream truck there got some delicious ice cream, definitely get the Valentine's Day limited time strawberry one if you visit there before the end of February!

The dessert is amazing!! Lovely place with a great view of the sea. Pets are allowed in the restaurant only if they are in a carrier or stroller. The field is huge, great place to take photos and run around. You will need to purchase a ticket to enter which could be used to purchase food at the restaurant.
