What an unique dinning experience! The young multi-talented owner did an excellent job describing to diners about how to enjoy her all organic vegetable buffets. There were five different soups (three with meat and two were vegetarian). All five were excellent and I would recommend that you try each one even you think your may not like some of the offerings. Then you can try the organic vegetables that were grown on site. You pick the ones you want to try and then cook them in hot water for 1-2 minutes. Once cooked you can add the sauce you want to try, I liked the miso sauce they most. There were also handmade rice noodles (米苔苜）you can cook them yourself and also available was the sticky rice that’s cooked already. You can top your rice or noodles with either meat sauce or vegetarian sauce for added flavor. The view here was spectacular and people stayed around after dinner to enjoy the view. The road coming up here was winding and long. Be very careful driving to and from this place as the road was mostly one lane wide. You can also order French wine here that was actually quite good. Note: this place only opens for dinner on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We are staying for the night, so the breakfast will be served. Update: the breakfast was great as well with some nice tea, pumpkin soup and a very tasty breakfast sandwich. The morning air was refreshing and the view was a million dollars.

A truly unique experience in taitung! I was here for challenge Taiwan 2022. My friend took me here and I loveeeee this place. He said it’s hard to get a reservation so book ahead. I remembered it was around $550 but it was totally worth it. The vegges were super fresh, clean, and the environment was excellent. The owners were super nice as well. Be ready to drive some narrow and windy roads up the mountain. Stop reading this and go there now!!!

WOW. What an absolutely unique dining experience. It blew my mind that this restaurant on top of a mountain, in the middle of a farming region of Taitung was probably the best and most memorable dining experience I had in ALL of Taiwan. First, the setting is just gorgeous. You arrive and you're immediately greeted by the wonderful, clear aerial view of Taitung. The air is clear and fresh, and by dinnertime, you start to see the moonrise. BREATHTAKING. Then, comes the food. Everything was delicious - balanced and light, yet still very flavorful. Almost all of the produce is organic & grown within the property. You really taste the freshness of the veggies. Some veggies are even wild foraged. They tasted very unique. The star for us was the sticky rice steamed in lotus or taro leaves. YUMMY! The accompanying sauce of roasted mushroom just blew us away. It was so wonderful. The host even explained all the food, all the philosophy and the idea behind the food. They even have merchandise items such as coffee beans and freshly made fruit jams that were also wonderfully flavorful. Not too sweet! and you can really taste all the products that go into it. Like others have mentioned - just be careful of the drive up. The roads are narrow, but they are not too dangerous.
