Traditional and famous …bento (the term coming from Japanese, a boxed lunch or dinner) Only two choices, vegan or meat. I read lots of negative reviews below; I just tried to stretch the truth for you. Rice growing from the same town, and all you can see on rice are what people used to eat years ago. 90 for one box. Don’t try to take it comparing with fancy meals, you’ll get disappointed.

Chishang’s famous lunch box (bento) shop, recommended to me by one of the town’s top chefs. Featuring local rice flavored with wooden boxes, the meal is designed to resemble the traditional lunch boxes that were (and still are) served on Taiwan’s traditional coal trains.

Personally didn't find anything special about the rice but it's probably just my taste buds. The bento was yummy and really filling - I liked the flaky thingy most. Lady boss was friendly too! This is literally at the doorstep of the train station so you can't miss it.
