Neihu District, Taipei City｜大崙頭草莓園

Love this strawberry farm located in the mountains. We took metro to Neihu station and took shuttle bus S2 to the terminal stop. The farm is just a few minute walk from the bus stop. We contacted the owner via FB messenger a priori. Enjoyed the cozy environment, fresh air and the warm reception by the owners. We spent the whole afternoon picking strawberries, savoring the freshly prepared food, and DIY-ing desserts. Wonderful experience. Relax and take your time downshifting here. If there are many guests, it would take longer time to wait for the food, it worths the wait though. Bring a windbreaker/ raincoat if you come in a rainy and windy day.

We reached the farm late Sunday afternoon, hence most of the strawberries were picked by visitors who arrived earlier in the weekend. However we still managed to pick a basketful of sweet strawberries. Kids thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Owners are very friendly and showed great hospitality. Highly recommend!
