The day before yesterday, I just thought that I usually eat in nearby restaurants, and I don't have any requirements for eating. It's been a long time since I've eaten without feeling moved... I happened to be driving in Miaoli, and I saw this western restaurant on Google map. I wanted to eat beef for a week, so I rushed to see the photo. I didn't make a reservation, but the proprietress let us in to eat. Thank you very much! The boss and the proprietress carefully selected good ingredients, without over-seasoning, and cooked with heart. The original taste of every ingredient can be eaten. The beautiful proprietress will introduce how to taste each dish ^ - ^ I pay great attention to the daily soup, and the soup here is very thoughtful~ Some restaurants make it casually. The chef who makes casual soup must also cook the main meal so-so. Seafood salad, the seafood is cooked just right. Dried scallops are not a good food for frying⋯ Many Taiwanese are afraid to eat half-cooked meat, because they are afraid of seeing blood. We ate the old set beef, which was cooked at most 5 minutes. No blood was seen, the meat was tender, oily flowers were seen but not greasy at all. Duck fried with mushrooms. The taste of duck meat is very similar to the feeling of eating liver, it is soft but not left in the mouth. Shrimp stew is also delicious. It's completely different from what I imagined. The price is not an evaluation, but considering the ingredients, cooking (preparation) time, it is worth it. There are still many that I haven’t eaten, I must try them all~ Hope to see one in Taichung...

The meal is a la carte, the thick soup is rich and layered, the homemade bread is soft and delicious, the stewed rice is also surprising, the steak is served with grilled seasonal vegetables, the portion is not much, but it is memorable, but the fried oysters are not so good something special.

I have recently discovered this small place close to my house, and even though I've only visited this restaurant once, it has soon become my favourite place in Miaoli. You'll find the foods in here are delicately made by the chef's creativities, combining the western style with the local ingredients. You can taste the unique flavours from every bite. You might find it a bit pricy to dine in here, but the exquisite foods and friendly service will make you feel it just worth every dollar you pay. The main dish I had is confit duck leg with gnocchi, padano sauce, red wine& roselle sauce, very delicious.
