Puli Township, Nantou County｜一碗食舖 籃城台所Vegan Bowl（營業日以臉書、instagram 為主，建議預約，沒有拉麵！）

One of the best vegan restaurant experience I’ve ever had. The owner (and other customers) tried her best to speak English to me about the food. My partner speaks Chinese so we could communicate by mix of English, Japanese, and Chinese. I also like the open kitchen layout of the restaurant. I also got to know other places to try vegan foods. The food I had was simple and interesting. It tastes different from ones I have in Japan. It tastes uniquely Taiwanese. I was also lucky to get their vegan cheesecake which they only have occasionally. Happy New Year’s Day lunch.

The food truly represented what the place stands for which is putting a lot of attention on the local ingredients. The dishes change depending on the fresh ingredients that are available that day or week from what I have heard. A lot of variety and very tasty, fresh and genuine.
