Chishang Township, Taitung County｜池上【巧本味蔬食人文料理】

So sorry, I thought we already left a review and only now reminiscing 4 months later did I realise i didn't! If you're vegan, vegetarian or just a big fan of amazing food you simply have to come here. We stayed in Chishang for around 5 days and after our first time came back every day (sometimes twice) to eat. The food is lovingly and expertly prepared by the family, and everything on the menu is delicious, especially the local speciality Chinese Toon rice dish which should have a michellen star. Lovely people, lovely food. Absolutely must visit. We're planning on coming back to Taiwan just to eat here again, that's how good it is!

Toon bibimbap, curry rice, braised stinky tofu, seaweed rice rolls, etc., are all delicious, even the basil is freshly picked outside, satisfying!

The food was delicious! The stinky tofu noodle was tasty and the seaweed rice tastes good, too. The place is tiny but cute and comfortable.
