Toucheng Township, Yilan County｜幸福滿味食堂

I chanced upon this on Google & decided to try as the reviews are good. The place isn’t much to shout about, just a simple, clean cafe-like setting. There was a strong food smell when we entered but slowly got used to it. I decided to order 2 highly recommended dishes: Sakura prawn fried rice (梅花虾炒饭)& Mixed seafood noodle soup (销魂面）. They were super delicious that after eating we wanted more. We also ordered clam soup $70 but the soup is quite bland with thin ginger slices & a handful of clams with shell. If we visit again tomorrow, we will just stick to the seafood soup & try the fresh oysters. Overall seafood is fresh and value for money.

The environment is so-so and the bathroom is a portable one, but the food is very good and fresh plus the price is super reasonable!

The most famous dish is SiaoHunMen (銷魂麵） The secret of delicious flavor is “fresh”.
