Love this place! I think it's my favorite restaurant in Shanhua. Came originally for the soft shelled crab, loved it so much. I tried some other dishes and got to know the owner, Derek. He's a great guy who makes delicious food, and he will even make things off the menu if requested by a customer. I know of a few other westerners who visit his place regularly and he has started to offer some western items to us as a little taste from home. His prior experience working in Western restaurants outside of Taiwan really shows since the flavor of his pastas are amazing. I've had marinara, pesto, and cream-based sauces. All of which were tasty! From an Indian friend, the flavor of his curry is the best that he's had in Taiwan. Even though it is not Indian curry. I guess it is a little closer than the Japanese curry that is typically found. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.
