Very beautiful Castle with big garden. Also have restaurants and coffee shops inside. We spent a good time here whole day. It’s a good place for family small trip, and photos with many survivor options and shop back home !

This place is definitely worth the hours of driving from Taipei. I would recommend arriving by car because it's located in an industrial park away from any kind of public transportation. I saw a few taxis but I could imagine that they would be expensive. There are lots of parking in their parking lot and I saw signs for a shuttle from the parking lot. If you drive past the place, you will find some free street parking. The grounds are beautifully sculptured and decorated. I recommend going just before sunset because the whole place is well lit. Is it comparable to Versailles? No! Is it well done and has European vibes? Yes! Check for discount tickets online as we were able to get half priced tickets. There was also coupons included that could be used in the restaurant or cafe. Our tickets gave us 100 ntd discount an any item in the shop. This 100 discount could be applied to multiple items. There was also live music to enjoy!
