VERY amazing restaurant! We came here for lunch after visiting the North Gate and loved the food and the music and the wonderfully unique concept! We like the traditional Taiwanese food with a modern feel! The old architecture and R&B music playing in the restaurant creates a warm and sensational atmosphere! Additionally, the food portions are quite large, so make sure to come with an empty stomach ready to eat the delicious food! The tofu is very dense and rich flavored, the fried dumpling appetizer with seaweed is so yummy, the chicken skin is smoked to perfection! Our lunch ended with a deliciously chewy and hot Taiwanese dessert that people with a sweet-tooth are sure to enjoy! Furthermore, the waiters were very friendly! In the restaurant, there is a large collection of old vinyl records and old books. This extraordinary restaurant is incomparable to restaurants in Taipei. You won’t be able to find any other restaurants like Jiaho. Overall, coming to this restaurant for a meal is a must if you are visiting Kenting! For two people, we payed $750NT total for 2 set meals, a great price for this delicious food! To the owners, thank you for creating this welcoming and remarkable restaurant! :)

The minimum spending per person is 180NT. In terms of the atmosphere of the restaurant in the night, the vibe is great. The whole place is decorated with old records, books and lots of plants on the front yard. For walk-in dinner we waited for 35-40 minutes outside to get seats (consider the mosquitos). The set menus were the main selling point for this place. The dishes came with rice, sides of veggies and the meat of choice. As a flex-vegetarian the tofu is my favorite side dish. The tables barely had space for 4 people and not enough space for our drinks. Nevertheless we enjoyed the food since it felt like Taiwanese home cooked meal. We left pretty full from this experience and would probably go back during the day instead of at night since the food are rather filling.

tasty! The portions are huge! The set meals and side dishes are carefully prepared.
