We chanced upon this small eatery on our way to the coffee bar at the end of the alley. It was a super small shop and looked authentic, so we went in and made a booking (there was only 2-3 tables and the fish needs an hour pre-order). This was one of the better meals we had, every dish was delicious and novel. The proprietess was friendly and authentic, and chatted with us while plucking vegetables. The pig scalp was a recommended dish and very refreshing- it was like crispy jellyfish with nuts. The stuffed fish was perfectly cooked and the stuffing went very well with the rice. The dragon whisker veggie was from her garden and super crisp and tender. Even the soup was great - tangy and clear, and the cucumber surprisingly crisp. Truly a great discovery that keeps travel interesting.

Definitely five stars. Came here on weekday and have good chat with the owner lady. The food is family style and very delicious. Btw, there are only one table, so if there is seat available, don’t hesitate, just go inside.
