Xindian District, New Taipei City｜Formosa Chang Xindian Bitan

This is where you can get Authentic Taiwanese street food with consistent taste and service, as it's a reputable franchise store. Although it's a bit on the expensive side compared to some street stalls, I still come here every time I return to the area for the taste that I grew up with. Each dish is small, so you can order a few to accompany your rice dish. They have plenty of vegetable and soup dishes too which I love, such as the braised bamboo shoot and the bitter melon soup.

One of the better chains in the area. Quick service, tasty food, reasonable prices. Avoid the rush hour, though, because they prioritize uber eats/food panda orders.

Man do I miss the fried pork with rice. If I had the money to fly back to Taiwan today, this would be my first stop!!!! Haven't been here since 2013 and think about it all the time!
