This is a fairly relaxed, non-chain coffee shop with an indie bookstore on the 2nd floor. Truth be told, the coffee is nothing special, but it's drinkable and perfectly adequate. You won't be getting any kind of mind-blowing single origin brews there, but hey, at least the prices are reasonable. There are plenty of wall sockets, so you can 'work on' your masters thesis, screenplay, book manuscript, etc. easily.
