Qingshui District, Taichung City｜Deer Gaomei

A really outstanding experience. Jason and his lovely wife spent a part of their life in Australia and hence speak a very good English. This made communication much easier than in other Taiwanese accommodations. They just opened in April 2017. The rooms as wells as the restaurant are nicely designed so that you feel comfortable from the first minute. We also enjoyed their food - breakfast and dinner were excellent. The Wetlands are only 3 minutes away (walking). We couldn't have chosen a better place for our stay. Highly recommended.

First of all, I would like to thank my good friend Li Xinrong for the recommendation. When I came to this homestay hidden in the alleys, my first impression was that it was comfortable~ and I could tell that the owners worked hard and put their heart into it. When I first came to the B&B, I first saw the warm living room, the counter and the friendly boss. When I walked inside, I saw a restaurant with a simple industrial style and a green rice field. The scenery changes with the four seasons and the red and white. Gaomei Lighthouse, with a cup of coffee and a snack, the afternoon is a little leisurely. During the check-in period, each room has a different style, but the first impression is that it is spacious, clean and tidy, so the score of the room is very high. When facing the guests, the owner is very kind and talkative. During the discussion, I learned about the homestay. The business philosophy is how much effort has been put into this homestay. From the perspective of the store decoration, in order to allow tourists who come from the city to experience the simple "atmosphere" of the countryside, so that tourists can gain spirituality in a compact and busy life. It took a short break to soothe the usually haggard soul, and it took a lot of effort, not to mention the exquisite meals, the taste is definitely nostalgic, and I look forward to the next encounter. The reunion after two years.

I visited the restaurant for lunch as I happened to be in the area. What a wonderful place! Incredible food and super friendly and attentive staff. Will come back for sure!
