East District, Chiayi City｜Chiayi University’s Insect Museum

Informational and fascinating! The entry fee is reasonable. Lots of insects to see, including a large ‘rainforest area’ where butterflies fly around. There’s also some live insects & a couple other animals too. In the gift shop on the second floor, you can buy live beetles :0, as well as non-live butterflies and moths which you can put in a cardboard or wooden frame (you get to decorate the back yourself with pressed plants). The large insect sculptures really reminded me of the movie Coraline :D

A must do! The museum is very beautiful and very enriching, all the staff were very kind, a big thank you to them. I would come back without hesitation. I highly recommend.

A good place to study a lot of insects, You can come here with your family, there is a cafe next to it too
