I wouldn’t call myself a coffee connoisseur, but I’ve had enough to be able to distinguish between great, good and bad coffee. Staying at Pingzhen for the foreseeable future, the Caffeine gods have taken my prayers in for outstanding coffee within a 5 minute walk. Mr Dodo specialty is in the vast collection of beans they have from around the world, Peru, Japan and Brazil they have a wealth of different subtle flavours and textures for caffeine lovers. Having quality ingredients though is only one part of the equation to making exquisite coffee, it also takes the craftsmanship of a seasoned barrister who is able prepare the beans adequately to produce the dark and luscious elixir. In Mr Dodo’s case the owner himself is a student of the caffeine craft, who has travelled the world and has brought his experiences back with him to Formosa. Your coffee is guaranteed to always come piping hot. Hands down the best coffee in town, if you’re in Pingzhen and after a premium drink then look further than Mr Dodo.
