Pingxi District, New Taipei City｜Palace Teahouse

Love the friendly owners and historical atmosphere. The restaurant was in an 80+ years old Japanese style house. I stopped by after the peak hour. The friendly owners gave a tour around the house and garden and told stories about its history, which used to be the quarters of the mining managers when taiwan was under the Japanese rule. The rose fruit tea , air dried shitaki musroom and homemade preserved sweet plum were lovely.

A very Japanese-style shop, suitable for relaxing with some leisurely afternoon tea. P.S. Photography is prohibited inside. If you need to take photos, please inform the boss lady first to avoid being a rude person!
