Shiding District, New Taipei City｜May-Ling Cafe

We love stopping at this cafe when we take the scenic route from Taipei to Ilan.

Friendly staff, testy coffee, awesome view (especially on the second floor) and nice music! Great place to relax!

If you are a bike rider traveling on Route 9 from Xindian to Yilan, you probably can plan to stop here for a rest. The store is about half way from Xindian to Pinglin, and Pinglin is about half way from Xindian to Yilan. You can enjoy coffee and snack here, and the view is enjoyable. If you are a motorcycle rider, this is also a reasonable rest area.
