Luodong Township, Yilan County｜Nester Brunch & Bistro

Update: new menu as 4/15/22 2 new dishes: mesh pumpkin with quinoa, top with roast veggies. It’s such yummy dish, vegetarian would be happy to eat this. We also order Yilan Roll which is also pretty good. We had been coming here since they open last year. It’s getting better and better each time. Chef takes such care for the food and the home grown arugula is super delicious. I really enjoy their pumpkin soup. It cool in a way that preserves the best part of the pumpkin flavors. He never fail us. Simply delicious. The environment is also very cozy. Makes it super relaxing every time we are here. Our top choice for the brunch and lunch spot. Will be update from time to time.

Another review for the new location, now my third visit. Had a nicely dressed Serrano ham salad. The beets, arugula, and pecorino romano were a joy, though I might have preferred a toasted nut in place of the sundried tomato. Also had the "eggs & mushies": a nice foccacia and scrambled eggs, grilled veggies including zucchini, fried shredded cabbage, a spinach-mushroom sauce, and their lovely house-made chili jam. The sweet potato "chips" w/aoili would have been a great side if we had had larger appetites. Meals came with drinks. Split a lemon curd merengue to finish. The thought and care this team has put into everything from lighting to bathrooms is evident, though I didn't see anything to dampen the noise when the restaurant is full (typical in Taiwan.) Really happy to have this option in Luodong. Looking forward to trying more of the menu.
