Gukeng Township, Yunlin County｜老吳咖啡莊園 Thewu caf’e

This is, for me, the most delicious coffee of Taiwan. It is grown in the high mountain belonging to this coffee plantation. The taste is strong and rich and less acidy. The plantation coffee shop is lovely, with a view to the mountains and with very kind service. A happy day with a good coffee. The whole area is very suitable for hill walking. There a lot of natural beauty. It is easy to get here. Bus Y01 from Douliu train station takes you directly to this place. It is just 3 minutes walk to the café and to the entry point of many beautiful hiking paths. Before and after the hiking you can enjoy the excellent cup of coffee and you can buy coffee beans to prepare your coffee at home.

The coffee here is the best, and the biscuits are also delicious. It is the first choice for drinking coffee in Huashan. Where is the special prize of Lao Wu Coffee? The brown sugar coffee cake is the first choice. It is made with pure brown sugar.
