First time dining here~ I ordered shredded pork noodles with pickled mustard, fried noodles with shredded pork, and braised food (bean buns, tripe, and king mushrooms) for $160 The noodles are hand-pulled and chewy! I think dry noodles go better with it. The soup of pickled mustard and shredded pork noodles is very fragrant. There is no seasoning and it is the taste of the ingredients themselves. The fried noodles with shredded pork really only have shredded pork, cabbage and noodles. I thought it had fungus, carrots, etc. just like the fried noodles outside. It's really simple, the sauce tastes sweet and not very salty overall. The braised king oyster mushrooms and tripe are delicious! King oyster mushrooms are super tasty and juicy. A must-try! The tripe is very chewy and not hard. The marinade itself has a strong flavor with a hint of Chinese medicine. It’s great with the addition of chili!

From Aixiangyuan opened on Jinan Road and then moved to Hangzhou South Road near National Taiwan University Law School, they are loyal customers. Found out last year that it had moved to its current location next to the Forest Service, and finally got a chance to buy it. The signature fried noodles with shredded pork still tastes the same (there is a kind of sand tea flavor that is very fragrant), the noodles are also very chewy, and the braised meat is still delicious, which is a perfect match for fried noodles with shredded pork. The proprietress is still friendly, and the countertops for cooking and preparing lo mei are still so neat and orderly. Will buy again in the future.
