Xinyi District, Taipei City｜【The Chips 信義店】

It was Friday 9pm and all of the restaurants are close except for this one. Food are fast served and taste real good. The restaurant is spacious and clean. Accommodate my last request to put Happy Birthday on our dessert. Make my husband very happy. Totally worth coming here.

I’d been wanting to try this place for years and it didn’t disappoint. We ordered the Crazy Burger and the White Wine Clam sauce Pasta. I thought the pasta tasted fine but my daughters said it tasted too fishy, but come on what did you expect from clams? The burger was delicious. Big patty covered in mushrooms, onions, cheese, pastrami (perhaps), toasted bun, bit of veg, and some kind of tasty bbq sauce. The menu says it is 12 ounces which sounds more impressive than it is. I thought it was going to be huge but shame on me for not doing the math. But like I said, this is a good tasting burger so try for yourself. There’s also a caramelized grapefruit which was surprisingly cold but still quite tasty. This place is comfortable and definitely worth a try. Oh the way, free order of chicken fingers if you grab the coupon from the girl at the escalator!

The double cheeseburger had amazing taste, was so juicy, the cheese was melted and scraped onto the burger at the table, as I watched it ooze off the sides my hunger grew more. As the photo shows, it was the best burger I have ever tasted! 10/10! The fries were amazing too, golden and crispy on the outside, very light and fluffy on the inside. Would 100% recommend. ⚠️: the burger is VERY MESSY
