Cheap to the north

I don't usually leave reviews for restaurants, but when I do..dos eq..I mean it's usually in fits of anger stemming from the restaurant's hygiene and sanitation. HOWEVER, I just want to say that THIS hot pot place is AWESOME. First things first, if having the ability to distinguish between "good" and "bad" tasting food is money, I'd be sleeping on park benches. For most restaurants, I would tell you the food is "so-so" because I can't tell either way. That being said, I can really taste the difference in Muhua. This place doesn't have a wide variety of ingredients on its menu, but the quality of its meat is absolutely top notch, especially at this price point. The meat is fresh and tender, nothing like the restructured meat prevalent in many of the lower budget (under $600 TWD per person imo) hot pot places. Usually I feel really thirsty after eating hot pot, but here, I don't get that. On top of that, when you cook the vegetables after the meat, your veggies will have a meaty aroma that tastes a lot better than it sounds. I guess the only thing that could be better is if the restaurant gave you drinks free of charge, but eh, it's not a deal breaker. I'm here for the hot pot, not the coke and juice after all. So overall, I would highly recommend Muhua if you actually enjoy having high quality meat for your hot pot...without having to hurt your wallet too much. (btw they're moving to Xinyi Breeze Nanshan soon, so if you come here and it's closed, that's why). 中文版 其實我很少在評論餐廳的, 如果有的話通常都是帶著怒氣要抱怨餐廳的清潔跟衛生, 但這裡真的值得讓我留一個正面的評論。 我通常對食物"好吃"跟"不好吃"很無感..基本上大部分的東西我吃起來都覺得"差不多," 但這間肉的品質真的很好到連我都吃得出來. 在這個價位普遍還是會有很大的機會吃到組合肉, 但來吃這家的肉就吃得出他的新鮮度跟真實肉的口感. 你如果問店長, 她還會跟你介紹這個肉是從國外哪一個農場出產的. 我也發現煮完這家的肉之後再煮菜, 菜會有肉的香氣而不是那種讓你會覺得很膩的混雜油味. 雖然這家的火鍋料選擇沒有像其他家的那麼多, 但品質絕對是++. 希望他們搬到信義區後還能維持現在的品質, 最後想推薦給愛吃火鍋的你/妳.

The soup is refreshing, the beef is very tender and the portion is quite large, especially the wagyu beef only costs more than 200, the seafood is very fresh, the price is very affordable, the service is very good, it is worth recommending!
