Jiaoxi Township, Yilan County｜礁溪九份傳統美食

Walked around looking for an early breakfast and found this place. Ambience is nice and cosy. Owner switched on the fan for us when we were seated, very thoughtful. Ordered some local delicacy and turned out to be real good. It’s very locally taste compare to what we had in Australia where the taste is fresher and tastier to be honest. Hor fun noodles is much more thicker than the rest of the countries we had before even though it’s quite similar. It’s also smooth and light. Try out the local rice dish and surprisingly they do have bamboo shoots as side veggie. Don’t really fancy the shoots though but the rice is good just a bit oily. Love the pig blood soup my goodness it is not smelly at all compare to some I had before. Texture is soft like tofu and melt in the mouth. Good place for good food.
