The staff was very friendly and accommodating to our extra request towards our dietary need which we really appreciated. Solidbean offered Bonsoy and Oatside as the alternative option of milk. The coffee was delicious! Flat white with Bonsoy and Nitro coffee lemonade with Rum, they were dangerously enjoyable😋. We'd be happy to have these drinks again anytime. Thank you to Zoe who introduced the coffee bean to us and we had a nice chat together. It's always nice to meet people who are full of passion! Definitely worth a revisit when we come back to Taichung. Visiting cafes is probably one of the best ways to explore a city. Hard Beans is definitely worth a visit again and again. Providing two types of plant milk is a highlight for guests with dietary restrictions. Bonsoy soy milk paired with white coffee tastes as good as milk; continental lemon coffee paired with a little rum is really a good way to relieve heat in the hot summer. The rum I ordered reduced the bitterness of the lemon and added a creamy and smooth taste. The aroma of rum and lemon peel spreads through the mouth and nose layer by layer... Recommended for people who don't ride or drive!
