Super easy to get to from the MRT station. Exit 1A. The cafe is very photogenic, and everything is set up for lovely hangout time with friends or even for working space. You will feel very relaxed there and can see many fashionable people walking in and out. I had iced Americano - it was smooth and easy to drink. Then their signature pineapple coffee was awesome! Great combo. Try their tiramisu and carrot cake - both were delicious. I was also very hungry and had a bagel sandwich which was a great choice. 🌟

I have tasted coffee at quite a few places and can safely say that places offering quality blends are few and far between. I was impressed by the quality of Americano I ordered. not too heavy and quite smooth. The aroma was a testament to the quality of beans used. Complimented with the excellent carrot cake, my evening coffee turned out to be a pleasant experience in the heart of Taipei. The owner is discreetly observant and so very helpful. The staff are polite and friendly. Adding to it the minimalist but eclectic décor , I give this place a solid five stars. Must visit for coffee connoisseurs.

Wanhua & Datong were the Detroit & Oakland of Taiwan (my geographic analogies may be off) & in the early goings of this mild early-onset gentrification Mike Mikey Mickey Rourke (earlier than Ironman 2 & after Wild Orchid) takes it upon himself to be a founding father of not New Jerusalem not New York not New Amsterdam but of New New New is Old this is the New New shooting the breeze (you speak English, right ? -- sensed something was off -- i smell the blood of an american man) in the modern (& sometimes mistaken for Korean) aesthetic of this since-March opened post- science Everyman's Endeavor to run his own coffee shop ☕ & reinact the plotline from a k-drama in which love (romantic) follows passion (so Korean/modern Asian aesthetic that quite a few have requested to do photoshoots there) so it's a pretty place how's the food ? & more importantly -- how's the købee ? (i was sure this was Norwegian for coffee ☕ but it's not) got the Sicilian cause Mike said so (iced -- as it only comes iced) Spec-tac-u-lar so delicious ought to be drunk as sold in quarts Costco come bottle this up so how did you come by this k-drama barista who trained with the monks of somewhere whose religion & devotion to their 1 true God -- the Bean ? ad on whatever tw site 60 applied 1 stood out, 1 wanted out of last job cause needed more time with Racing Pigeons & probably loves his new digs at Købee too & probably given free rein -- probably respected & immensely appreciated here cause people who makes places to make themselves happy tend to extend that condition as perquisite of work went upstairs -- who's your designer ? some k-drama set designer hiding out in Taiwan to escape her alpaca debts cause she's in deep with the Chilean street gang of Hongdae for her love of the soft wool of the furry ostrich-horse ya see ? -- these k-dramas practically write themselves got the bagel 🥯 -- wanted double cheese 🧀 but out of so the matcha red bean the backup went alpaca glove and hand with the Sicilian perused clientele -- upstairs -- serious women doing serious things -- felt like a pre-collapse WeWork location on the island of the Amazonian women one Brit dialed into her Zoom call is a ringer for Robin Wright i looked around as I took shots of exterior Mike picked this spot cause windows on 2 sides & facing main street across the way is a Michelin something not rated guide cause price point too low but still recognized for excellence rice 🍚 & something shop whose food should be preserved & served surely however couldn't we still tear it down turn it into a square rimmed with stands -- give young folk a spot to try & she can still have some real estate but really how much kitchen could she need to make a couple of dishes a row of town houses -- ground floor no shops still 2 vacant biz spots in the building of Købee across the main thoroughfare a new building going up & some longer-term care facility which oughta go too ain't no room for that in the New New i'm just saying : hipsters & tech nomads gotta live & coffee & craft beer & pizza somewhere too do they not bleed ? are they not people ? let's talk desserts before getting to all the savoury that smelled so good coming out & upstairs to the Amazons Mike gets his desserts from Tamsui & Yilan -- yes driving to Yilan to pick up from the private kitchen of some hotshot multidisciplinary pastry chef to give you his creations in Datong didn't get a chance to but will certainly try sweets from afar & savoury to feed a Wonder Woman & do look for short form k-drama-esque content coming out of Købee cause the decor is just dying for it ( i know i know the b is a Cyrillic B which sounds like f/v but i ain't got the Russian keyboard ⌨️ set up on this device) tMac 🦖 (uh i shot the Sicilian on my other phone)
