Shilin District, Taipei City｜Kitten Coffee Garden

They had 11 cats, 1 bird and 2 dogs when we went in August 2023. We bought two ice honey milk tea and they were pretty decent. If you really want the cats and dogs attention, you can buy pet snacks at the counter and they will love you for it. I was also surprised that the place didn't smell. They have really good AC and ventilation compared to other places I've been.

it's praised as one of the oldest cat cafe in all over Taiwan (24 years) and there was even a Guiness record certificate hanging on the wall (verification needed) and it didnt disappoint. there's plenty of cats (one cat per table ratio) going around and doing their things (jumping up and down, sleeping, sitting on the coffee machine, etc) and 2 dogs as well. the owners are sweet couple who take very good care of all of them and even make a booklet of each cat with their names and ages for guests to identify. Guests are free to walk around to play with different cats/the dogs. do take note there's minimum spend but it's all worth the play time we get, isnt it?

Quiet cat cafe right near the train station. Great place to stop while exploring Taipei. Reasonably priced cakes and tea and some furry friends to keep you company while you plan your next stop. Highly recommended!
