Bearing in mind that this place serves also as a shelter for the animals residing here, adjust your expectations AND entitlement accordingly and you’ll see why the 1-star reviews are undeserving. I’ve visited here many times and always had a good time just watching the animals go about their day. The food prices are a little pricey by Taiwan standards but have been improving in quality and are enjoyable, salad is very crisp and the seafood dishes are fresh and rich in taste. The servers tend to put the animals’ welfare and needs first so you may find yourself needing to wait before you’re seated or your request attended to, but I prefer this over places where animals are treated like products or toys to entertain customers.

The atmosphere is super nice! When we got there we found four dogs (one was shy and stayed behind the counter) and a few cats. Some cats were in an enclose, some free to roam in the second room. You get asked if you want to stay in the room with dogs or with cats (we choose the dogs one) but you can walk from one to the other as you please! The animals looked happy, the rules ensuring they’re not disturbed, and the food was nice!

I love this place! There’s a separate cat and dog area but the dog area gets full quicker. The pets are taken such good care of and the cats are fat and happy. They’re used to having guests around but you have to respect their boundaries. Food is a little expensive to regular cafes but it’s worth it since it goes to the animals’ care. Staff is kind and they tell you what you the rules for eating inside. Cash only!
