Xindian District, New Taipei City｜MUSKOX Caf'e Bistro 咖啡/早午餐/甜點

MUSKOX is a delicious little Cafe located behind Dapinglin MRT station. We had the opportunity to stop here on our last day in Taipei and enjoyed a wide variety of different menu items. Starting with the coffee options, major props need to be given. We had the Osmanthus latte, Iced Americano, and Thai Iced Tea. The coffee menu is on point and delicious. The Osmanthus latte was served with perfect micro foam and the Thai Iced Tea hit the spot! Following up with appetizers we had shrimp cakes sourced from Tainan (a delicious delicacy) and the single best yam fries I have ever eaten! Served with a hand made ancho Chipotle aioli these fries are worth the price of admission alone! The popcorn chicken they are served with is the icing yon top of the cakf8e. For mains we had the fried chicken peanut butter focacia, truffle risotto, spicy mushrooms pasta, and bolognese. All of these dishes were delicious in their own right but I strongly recommend the truffle risotto. I am not a huge truffle fab but the flavour is perfectly balanced in this dish and an excellent choice! Finally the restaurant has an excellent selection of Taiwanese craft beers to enjoy. The owners are very friendly, attentive, and put a lot of pride in their cooking and sourcing high quality ingredients. Menus are available in English and the owners speak English as well for visitors from abroad. Take a stroll down the cute lit street outside and stop for a coffee, dessert, or amazing dinner, you won't be disappointed!

It’s a great cafe with a nice ambience! They are very flexible as they can change the ingredient if you don’t like it! Will go there again for sure! Highly recommended !
