Hualien City, Hualien County｜哈崙咖啡

Tbh… I don’t want to recommend this because I’m worried about I have to queue next time I visit… Good coffee from their own origin. Fantastic dessert from a Mum’s love for her kids.

Stunning place for a coffee break. Nice house which was built in Japan occupied era. Many good selected coffee beans and you can find the different methods. The owner, a local lady and mother, is super friendly. And her son is cute! Love there and I’m sure we will go to visit again when we travel to Hualien and Taiwan.

Don't be fooled by the humble appearance of this cafe. Walk in and be wowed by the passion of the lady owner and the excellent hand-dripped coffee she makes. Other than having a selection of foreign beans, they also grow and roast their own specialty beans called Halun (cafe's namesake). The acidity was just nice. We were so impressed by the fresh and smooth taste of the Halun coffee that we bought some beans to bring home. We spent almost 2 hours at the cafe, and what an experience it was!
